Dr. Mallory Fox, MS, DNP, FNP-C is a double masters and doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Michigan, board certified through the AANP. She has extensive experience as a medical-surgical and oncology nurse prior to becoming a provider and her love of nursing and medicine stemmed from her personal battle with chronic illness, as well as receiving and working on all ends of the spectrum.

After completing her Doctorate in Nursing from the University of Michigan, she did a two year-post doctorate fellowship in Internal Medicine under a physician she values greatly, before moving to Virginia where she practiced in both Family Practice and Integrative Functional Medicine. Mallory currently holds her Autonomous Practice licensure in the state of Virginia and has taken what she has learned to form Fox Family Direct Primary Care. In addition to loving medicine, her passion lies in utilizing education to improve primary care and mental health, as she comes with over five years of teaching at the collegiate level—therefore we happily welcome students, as she believes education is the way of the future!

When she is not working, she loves spending time with her partner, Diego (our Office Manager), her Busha (grandmother), their dogs Bella and Lucy and cat Salah. You’ll find them outside in the garden, at the soccer field or working on a DIY project around the house!
